TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Knight Kiplinger, one of America’s most
respected economic journalists and business forecasters, will
speak Thursday, March 6 at 5 p.m. in Sellers Auditorium at the
Bryant Conference Center on The University of Alabama campus.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Kiplinger is editor in chief of The Kiplinger Letter,
Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine, and
KiplingerForecasts.com. His visit is sponsored by UA’s College
of Human Environmental Sciences and The Chamber of Commerce of
West Alabama.
The Kiplinger Letter is a business forecasting weekly
that has been published since 1923 and has more than 300,000
subscribers. Kiplinger’s Personal Finance Magazine,
founded in 1947 as the first magazine in the field of personal
money management, has a monthly circulation of more than 1
million. KiplingerForecasts.com is the organization’s newest
venture and is a daily forecasting service that alerts
executives to coming changes in economics conditions, technology
and government regulation.
Kiplinger is the co-author of several best selling books,
including “Kiplinger’s Look Ahead”, “America in the
Global ’90s”, “The New American Boom” and “Washington
Now.” His most recent book, “World Boom Ahead,” was
published in 1998.
He is a frequent guest on many national radio and television
programs including “The Today Show”, “CBS This Morning”
and “The Larry King Show.”
