The Bankhead History Lecture Series will present its third lecture of The Art of Biography series Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Ferguson Theater. Dr. Dan Carter, Educational Foundation Professor at the University of South Carolina, will present "George C. Wallace and the Art of Biography." Carter is the author and editor of more than 40 articles and a half dozen books including "The Politics of Rage: George Wallace, the Origins of the New Conservatism and the Transformation of American Politics" (1995) and "From George Wallace to Newt Gingrich: Race in the Conservative Counterrevolution, 1963-1994" (1996).
