The requests for tuition awards for qualifying graduate students for the fall 2005 and spring 2006 semesters are due in this office by the following dates:
Fall 2005 – June 24, 2005 Spring 2006 – October 21, 2005
These deadlines will permit sufficient
time for registering these awards on each student’s account before
the deadlines for confirmation of schedules, which are as follows:
Fall 2005 – August 12, 2005 Spring 2006 – December 9th,
2005
Please make a note of these important dates in your department calendars.
There have been no significant changes in the requirements for graduate
students to be approved for tuition awards since last year; however, please take the time to peruse the attached documents as they include important information about who qualifies for tuition awards.
Note that all of the forms that are to be used can be downloaded from the Graduate School web site at the following address:
http://www.graduate.ua.edu/admin/forms/index.html, and from the Contract & Grant Accounting Office web site at:
http://cga.ua.edu/c&gaccounting_forms.html.
Please make sure that copies of this memo are forwarded to everyone in your area who has any responsibilities relating to the preparation of tuition forms for your graduate assistants.
